Increased demands are placed on employees' knowledge and expertise and the half-life of knowledge has decreased significantly. These factors compel all Quality Managers and Auditors to engage in lifelong learning. Therefore, refresher courses are increasingly becoming a part of upskilling. They are not only necessary as proof for the extension of a personal certificate (such as Quality Systems Manager, Auditor) but also give participants the opportunity to learn about the most recent standards and other useful information. There is furthermore an opportunity to compare notes with colleagues and learn about best practice.

The training concept focuses on the requirements for the future expertise of Quality Systems Managers and Quality Auditors. Recent developments and trends in standardisation, practise but also in science will be reflected and connected to operative processes. Therefore, the course will offer experts' inputs including practical exercises, case studies and the possiblity of exchanging experiences among participants. The participants' active involvement is necessary for successful learning. Concrete methods and tools for the actual application in the company will be provided and tested within the frame of the refresher course.

In order to give all participants from many different industries the opportunity to generate special knowledge, special refresher courses have been developed in addition to the general refresher courses including e.g. refresher course for Quality Managers and Auditors, with the focus on health (RQA-GW), food safety (RQA-L), medical devices (RQA-MP) and corporate quality (excellence) (RQA-AV). The first day of refresher courses with a focus will deal with the respective focus, while the emphasis of the second day will be on selected topics of the general refresher course for Quality Manager and Quality Auditors (RQA).
