The applicant composes a company overview to provide a basis for the assessors. This overview can contain details about the history, organization charts, markets, positioning, products and services. The company provides a detailed description of the main procedures of the organization structured according to the EFQM model and additional documents (e.g. strategy papers, profitability report, company trends).
Evaluated by Assessors' Team, honoured by Jury
A team of 3 to 7 qualified assessors will evaluate the stated achievements. The evaluation is based on an examination of the documents presented by the applicant and a site visit.
After the visit by the assessor team and the ensuing feedback, the jury decides which organizations will be honored.
Furthermore, the applicants are obliged to bear the travelling and accommodation costs (according to joint planning of the Assessment Team Leader and the applicant) of all the persons belonging to the Assessor Team, which are connected with a subsequent Consensus Meeting and the Site Visit (official mileage allowance or rail tickets, accommodation, on-site catering).
