Notice of amendment of Akkreditierung Austria, Accreditation in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012, expansion of the accreditation extent

2011

Reaccreditation and expansion of the accreditation extent (BGBl.154 vom 10. Mai 2011).

2008

Transferring accreditation based on EN 45011 from OQA Österreichische Arbeitsgemeinschaft zur Förderung der Qualität (Austrian Workgroup for Promoting Quality) to OQA Zertifizierungs-GmbH (Certification Ltd.) (BGBl. (“Bundesgesetzblatt” – Law Gazette) 184 dated June 06, 2008).

2007

Establishing OQA Zertifizierungs-GmbH (Certification Ltd.) in 2007 – the sole partner is OQA Österreichische Arbeitsgemeinschaft zur Förderung der Qualität (Austrian Workgroup for Promoting Quality). OQA Zertifizierungs-GmbH (Certification Ltd.) is in charge of the operational business relating to the granting of the Austria Quality Label in the accredited area.

2004

On 23 March 2004 at a joint board meeting, all four organizations agree upon the following share ownership of Quality Austria as signed by the Presidents and duly notarized: OQS 59%, OVQ 30%, OQA 8% und AFQM 3%.


Accreditation in accordance with Austrian Accreditation Law BGBI No. 448/2004 of 26 November 2004 by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Labor following ÖNORM EN 45011. OQA must undergo an annual monitoring audit and a triennial accreditation audit.

1992

The Austria Quality Seal for Austrian Model Companies ("Österreichischer Musterbetrieb") was developed. Thus, operational sites (e.g. restaurants, retail or skilled trade) are enabled to join a community of quality.

1946

OQA was founded as a non-profit society for the enhancement of the competitive position of Austrian products and services and for guaranteeing consumers consistent quality.
