New accreditation for SCC VAZ 2021 A and SHE Personal VAZ 2021

The time has come: we finally have the new SCC VAZ 2021 A and SHE Personal VAZ 2021 A accreditation notification for Quality Austria in our hands. We would now like to provide you with a summary of the key points of the changes / innovations.

You can now switch to this new SCC standard (SCC VAZ 2021 A) or be certified accordingly. We will be happy to support you accordingly. You can contact our experts here!

An audit block of two hours is required to fulfill the conversion or accreditation requirement. This audit block can be combined with the next audit; this extends the audit time. However, an extra audit can also be carried out on site or remotely. The contents of this additional block are the adjustments to the regulations for training courses, their proofs and the examination of the internal implementation of the shortened duration of personal certificates.

The transition period to switch from SCC 2011 to SCC VAZ 2021 A runs until June 30^th, 2025.

Details certifications of persons:

The validity of the SHE personnel certificates has been reduced from ten to five years and now corresponds to the accreditation standard ISO/IEC 17024. Old SHE personnel certificates according to standard SCC 2011 are only valid until April 30^th, 2028.

qualityaustria personnel certificates that were issued according to SCC 2011 from May 1^st, 2023 but already have a term of five years can be converted by Quality Austria at your request, whereby the term remains unchanged.

qualityaustria personnel certificates that were issued according to SCC 2011 and have a term of ten years can be converted by Quality Austria to the new regulations “SHE Personal VAZ 2021 A” on request for a processing fee, whereby the validity may not exceed April 30^th, 2028.
