ISO 9001:2026 enters the next stage
The comments on the draft international standard ISO 9001:2026 have been processed by the ISO committee. Here you can find the latest news on the revision and what will be important for companies in 2026.
Last week, the follow-up meeting of the ISO committee TC 176/ SC 2/ WG 29 took place in Mexico to process the comments on the Draft International Standard (DIS) of ISO 9001:2026. In just five days, around 1700 comments submitted on the DIS were processed: there was already a very high level of agreement in advance. The approximately 100 participants also clarified detailed questions and optimized wording. According to the current status, the publication of ISO 9001:2026 is planned for September 2026.
