AUVA-SGM (Safety and health management system of the Austrian Social Insurance for Occupation Risks)

Overview

The AUVA-SGM:2012 is an occupational health and safety management system based on the systematic and proactive interaction with occupational health and safety. The aim of AUVA-SGM is the maintenance and promotion of safety, health and performance. The system can be implemented in all organizations, independent of size and nature.

New and re-certifications according to AUVA-SGM are no longer possible since October 1, 2023. Existing certificates can be maintained until their expiry date (maximum until 2026) if the corresponding surveillance audits are carried out.
